Guidelines for Ethics presentations

Here are some content points to remember for your talks..
1.    Include background details/material on the organizers / organizations responsible for the conference and on the groups that participated. (Intro)
 
2.    Discus the benefits of volunteering and possible how this has developed in the UAE (history)

3.    Discuss the benefits that you (each speaker) gained & provided from the experience

4.    Possibly, touch on how this experience has changed your view of ‘special needs’ people, and how it will affect your future perceptions.

5.    Anything else you think is relevant to the presentation.

Use your blog photos and posts to create a supporting PowerPoint slide show. Each person should speak for 4-6 minutes each (maximum 8 mins). Two slides / person max!   On 20th May we’ll have a presentation review class..!


Final Assignments:
1. Volunteer Blogs:  all info due 22nd May - midnight..

2. Volunteer Presentations: between  27th May in class 
    Schedule Sunday in class for groups!  Bring your Draft Report Outlines 

3. On-line discussion / reports due on 6 June  (drafts due with your presentation) outline and first writings.. Or lose 20% off the top..

“Special needs” people in the community

Group C – Mohammed Abdulrahman + Mohammed Essa  ??
Dialysis “Kidney Failure” and the treatment (Or some relevant medical topic)

Group D – Abdulla Muneef + Nayef
Divorce and how to avoid it

Group E – Sultan Ali
Housemaids and their impact on the society/ families (Or other relevant social issue)
